At Radio Tulum we believe in the value of aggregating the history of music — and knowing where we came from. The series began before genres existed, when it was all just rock n roll: Elvis, Sam Cooke and a live set by the station's own Mezcalona. Episode by episode it moved through the wild years of Hendrix, the children of the revolution — Bowie, Pink Floyd, the Velvet Underground — the Love Revolution and the invention of the hippie, Motown and Songs in the Key of Life, until rock grew up and tried to kill disco.
